That’s 30-40% less weight than normal performance fabrics.</li> <li>To make the fabric tough enough, we use nylon (then add a little stretch). The polyester version repeatedly failed our testing and cost us an extra year that we’ll never get back.</li> <li>Every roll of fabric takes 6 hours to complete, using 44 gauge needles. Standard fabric takes 45 minutes and uses 20 gauge needles. Quality takes time.</li> <li>Mini-perforations are woven into the fabric to increase airflow, speed up dry time and decrease weight. They’re small and mighty but do not dominate the aesthetic of the shirt.</li> <li>ToughMesh™ has a rating of UPF 35 - this means that you will get more protection from UV rays than a standard training shirt.</li> </ul> </ul>
