A men's pendant necklace modeled after the Saint Christopher medallions worn by surfers in the 1960s as tokens of protection on the water. Saint Christopher, the patron saint of travelers and safe passage, is cast in relief at the center of a large round medallion filled with black enamel, the silver figure reading with sharp contrast against the dark ground. "St. Christopher Protect Us" is engraved around the frame. A smaller Polaris star coin pendant hangs alongside it from the same bail. Both pendants sit on a 24-inch Cuban chain with a lobster clasp.
