<p class="p1">When Ichigo Shimbun (<i>or as you may know it - Strawberry News!</i>) was first published in April 1975, it was 12 pages long and was published twice a month, costing 100 yen per issue! It started with a proposal from the Strawberry King to create a newspaper that would convey his wish for everyone in the world to get along and cherish compassion. </p> <p class="p1">In honor of the 50th anniversary, a strawberry-themed collection was created to commemorate the lasting relationship with our <i>Ichigo Mates</i> (readers of the Ichigo Shimbun!).
