<p><i>Eleventh studio album from legendary David Bowie.</i> <i>Low</i> was originally recorded in 1976 following Bowie's move away from the excesses of Los Angeles. He would first move to Switzerland, before moving to Berlin with friend and singer <a href="https://www.turntablelab.com/search?type=product&amp;q=Iggy+Pop" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><strong>Iggy Pop</strong></a>. From there Bowie got into the German music scene, including the acts <a href="https://www.turntablelab.com/search?type=product&amp;q=Kraftwerk" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><strong>Kraftwerk</strong></a> and <a href="https://www.turntablelab.com/search?type=product&amp;q=Neu%21" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><strong>Neu!</strong></a>. At the same time he was listening to <a href="https://www.turntablelab.com/search?type=product&amp;q=Brian+Eno" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><strong>Brian Eno's</strong></a> <a href="https://www.turntablelab.com/search?type=product&amp;q=Discreet+Music" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><i>Discreet Music</i></a>. Bowie and Eno would eventually meet and begin collaborating along with Pop and producer <a href="https://www.turntablelab.com/search?type=product&amp;q=Tony+Visconti" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><strong>Tony Visconti</strong></a>. As Bowie worked on shedding the trappings of his Thin White Duke persona, he escaped into the anonymity of West Berlin and began crafting on <i>Low</i>. Visconti would produce with Eno adding his synth wizardry and Bowie's <a href="https://www.turntablelab.com/search?type=product&amp;q=Station+to+Station" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><i>Station to Station</i></a> band fleshing everything out. Includes the songs: "Breaking Glass," "Sound And Vision," and "Warszawa." Twelve tracks in all.
